Explore Profire CareersSince 2015 Ryan Oviatt has been leading the team at Profire, ensuring our financial goals and strategic planning continue to parallel with our values as a company. He shares the responsibility of Co-CEO and Co-President with Cameron Tidball. Together, Ryan and Cameron share responsibilities for setting and executing organization strategy and direction, as well as managing overall operations and resources at Profire. In addition, Ryan also fills the positions of Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer, and Board Member.
Ryan is directly responsible for Finance and Accounting, Operations, People Operations, HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment), Legal and Compliance, Information Technology, and Quality Control. Ryan’s passion for the success of our team is apparent every day, as he is always available to assist any member when the need arises. His style of leadership contributes immensely to our organization’s culture by creating an environment where everyone works alongside each other with respect, patience and determination.
In his free time, Ryan loves an adventure. He and his wife enjoy the scenic landscapes of Utah while riding through the mountains on their motorcycles. Ryan believes giving back is an important attribute of humankind and spends time volunteering and supporting his faith and community in various capacities.
Ryan’s compassion for others, matched with his strong work ethic, creates a solid foundation for the overall success of our team. He believes, “You work hard to get the job done. Have fun and show respect for others along the way. Deliver on the commitments you made, while making time for important things outside of work, such as family.” Ryan demonstrates his dedication to these commitments each and every day.
Since 2010 Cameron Tidball has been leading the team at Profire, guiding our ongoing strategic growth and direction. He shares the responsibility of Co-CEO and Co-President with Ryan Oviatt. Together, Cameron and Ryan set and execute organization strategy and direction, as well as manage the overall operations and resources at Profire. During his tenure, Cameron has served as Chief Business Development Officer, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, and Regional Sales Director.
Cameron is directly responsible for Business and Product Development, Engineering, Sales Operations, Service Delivery, and Marketing. His positivity, honesty, and integrity are key values reflected in how Cameron leads our team. His open-door policy welcomes everyone at Profire to discuss new ideas about any aspect of our business, products, and solutions. His approach encourages collaboration, contributing to our customer-centric culture by creating an environment where everyone’s voice is heard and respected.
Outside of work, Cameron loves to spend time with his family and has a passion for helping individuals and supporting the community. He spends his evenings and weekends with community organizations related to youth basketball which he has coached for over 15 years. He also gives in other service capacities where he supports the mental and temporal well-being of community members.
Cameron’s true nature is evident in how he conducts business, how he leads our team, and how he encourages growth in both. He believes, “Being a difference maker is about being intentional in what you do, how you do it, and how you live your life. Not content to sit on the sidelines, difference makers are willing and ready to go and play their part in changing the world.” Cameron is known as a doer. He leads by example, and is always willing to do, to lift, to support, to respond, and to care.
Since 2009 Patrick Fisher, Vice President of Product Development, has had an immense impact on the innovation of our solutions. Starting as the only member of our product development team, Patrick has since built a department of tremendously skilled engineers and developers. With a background in electrical engineering, Patrick’s skills and knowledge in designing wireless systems have been integral to the success of our burner management and combustion control systems. Patrick is directly responsible for spearheading product development to meet the evolving needs of our industry partners. His proactive planning alongside our senior leadership team ensures our products continue to exceed regulation standards with new and updated solutions.
To recharge his batteries, Patrick and his family enjoy traveling to destinations around the world to experience different cultures and delicacies. He has developed a passion for the ocean and has begun reef-keeping in an extensive home aquarium. Patrick and his wife also enjoy volunteering in various capacities within their community including teaching a children’s class at their church.
Patrick views maintaining a work-life balance as the most valuable component to the overall productivity of his team and a vital component to our office culture. “Having a better balance between work and life leads to better long-term productivity.”
Brant plays a vital role as our OEM/Service Business Development Manager, focusing on installation planning, technical support, and project deployment. He is dedicated to enhancing our sales and field service support. Brant's extensive 20+ years of experience in the Energy Industry contributes to his genuine enthusiasm and passion for each project. He embodies a strong work ethic, adept team-building skills, and a profound sense of responsibility in everything he does.
Brendan Frank is our valued Director of Service Operations and has been with Profire since its inception. In his first 11 years, Brendan was our Senior Field Technician, bridging extensive on-site experience and exceptional customer service skills. His progression to Director of Service Operations was a natural fit. Brendan leads our service department alongside our sales team to ensure unmatched product delivery for our customers. Because of Brendan, you can count on top-quality products and exceptional service under his guidance. Brendan's dedication to his work shines through as he can often be found hands-on in the shop building fuel trains or installing systems in the field.
Brendan enjoys the warmer summer months, heading outdoors to practice his swing on the golf course and savoring the tranquility of casting a line at local fishing holes.
“Learn to fail fast” is Brendan’s key phrase for facing the many challenges in life. He believes that if things aren't progressing as desired, shake things up. Brendan avoids complacency by encouraging his team to take proactive steps to drive change and action within their operations.
Daniel is an expert in Profire products and their applications. He leads a team of specialists dedicated to exploring Sales & Customer Service opportunities within and beyond the Oil & Gas sector. As part of our sales leadership team, he sets customer service benchmarks and cultivates lasting relationships. Daniel believes in maintaining a positive outlook on the future, regardless of the challenges that may arise.
Since 2022, Daren Haws has been our Director of Finance and Accounting. His educational background is extensive, holding a Master of Accountancy from Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Arts from Utah State University. With a wealth of experience as an auditor and accountant in various industries including direct sales, health and wellness, and consumer lending, Daren brings diverse knowledge to Profire.
He sees accounting as a crucial service department within the organization. Daren leverages his extensive expertise to infuse a unique perspective into all operations, driving strategy and overseeing significant initiatives for Profire.
When not at the office crunching numbers, you can find him volunteering with local community theatre organizations, singing in a choir, and honing his golf swing for the annual Profire golf tournament.
Daren values people over problems. When facing an issue, he often says, "No worries," as he believes any goal can be achieved with kindness and patience.
With his extensive industry knowledge, Dustin plays a vital role in our business development and product innovations. His responsibilities include leading product development support and driving market expansion, both crucial components for our overall success. He brings high integrity and stability to our company culture.
Jason leads our internal technology initiatives to ensure secure and efficient operations that align with our company goals. He oversees cybersecurity, Microsoft administration, network infrastructure, and the strategic direction of Information Technology (IT) initiatives. Jason’s exceptional data management skills strengthen our organization and our internal infrastructure. He aligns departmental objectives with our company-wide mission, positioning technology as the driving force behind our success and innovation.
With his extensive leadership experience, he bridges the gap between technical and non-technical teams, fostering cross-department collaboration. Jason champions clear communication, continuous learning, and proactive issue resolution throughout the company. He enriches the Profire culture by nurturing a positive work environment, and consistently going the extra mile to achieve excellence.
Jeff leads our sales and service team in the U.S. Eastern and Midwest regions, focusing on delivering exceptional customer solutions. With over 10 years at Profire, Jeff's patience and meticulous attention to detail have fostered strong working relationships with both customers and colleagues. Always at the forefront of new technology and industry insights, Jeff ensures our solutions remain innovative and effective.
His dedication and expertise drive us to consistently surpass sales targets while upholding our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
Overseeing all internal operations at Profire, Jeremy manages our products’ distribution, procurement, assembly, and inventory. He plays a critical role in maintaining smooth operations throughout our warehouses across the U.S. and Canada. Jeremy excels as the Senior Operations Manager thanks to his organizational skills, which give him a real knack for refining processes, resources, and staff efficiency.
His leadership style is instrumental in shaping our company dynamics, fostering a culture where every team member feels integral to our success and motivated to contribute to our shared goals.
Leading the business development team, John is fundamental in the successful execution of our solutions by serving as a technical liaison, seamlessly supporting and addressing each of our customer’s distinct needs. Where he lacks musical talents, he hits the high notes when it comes to everything Profire. Because of his extensive knowledge, John tends to be our team's go-to guy whenever a question arises about our products or services and he is always happy to help.
Kelsey, our People Operations Manager, is dedicated to cultivating a positive employee experience at Profire. She oversees all employee services, policies, and programs, ensuring our workplace is both efficient and nurturing. Kelsey's expertise in talent development, recruiting, and benefits administration has fostered the incredibly skilled and dedicated team that drives our success today.
By spearheading morale-boosting events, she continually enhances the Profire culture, making it a dynamic and engaging place to work. Kelsey's dedication to employee well-being and professional development, combined with her readiness to always lend a helping hand, shines through in every facet of her work. As the Marketing Manager, Rachel oversees all inbound and outbound marketing activities with a keen dedication to the Profire brand. Her strategic skills and meticulous attention to detail ensure brand consistency across all initiatives, reinforcing trust, reliability, and the Oxford Comma.
A constant source of enthusiasm and creativity, Rachel fosters a dynamic and engaging work environment for her colleagues. Her collaborative spirit and dedication make her an invaluable asset to the Profire team.
Ryan Northcott has worked at Profire since 2011 and is currently serving as our Director of Quality Control where he plays a vital role in ensuring our products meet our high standards. He brings over 20 years of design and leadership experience as a senior engineer, enhancing the safety and quality of our products with his valuable insights. Over the years, he has been a key contributor to the design of several of our burner management systems, establishing our Quality Control Department, overseeing our customer technical support, and initiating our panel shop program. Ryan’s team oversees product quality, certifications, manufacturing, and documentation control.
Outside of work, Ryan enjoys spending time outdoors and photographing the world around him. If he's not out exploring, he’s volunteering his free time to community service with his church organization.
Ryan embraces the philosophy of "Every brain in the game" by Jack Welch, emphasizing the importance of inclusivity and diverse perspectives. He believes that true success is achieved when every team member is empowered to contribute their unique ideas, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Todd is our Senior Manager of People Operations, where he oversees the company's Human Resources (HR) functions with the goal of making each team member feel valued, heard, and supported. Holding a Juris Doctor degree, Todd brings a unique blend of legal expertise and strategic HR leadership to his role. He focuses on fostering a dynamic workplace that empowers employees and encourages growth and innovation. Todd also plays a key role in developing and implementing HR strategies that support the company's overall business objectives. He manages employee relations and oversees compensation and benefits programs.
As the corporate and board secretary, Todd ensures communication and governance, providing guidance and support to the board of directors in executing and aligning corporate strategies with business objectives. His forward-thinking approach drives success by creating a workplace where employees thrive and aligning HR initiatives with the company's vision.
