2026 Golf Tournament in Support of Utah Burn Center
By Profire TeamSeptember 2, 2026
Every year since 2016, we’ve gathered for something bigger than a round of golf: giving burn survivors the chance to heal, grow, and connect through the University of Utah’s Burn Camp program.
On August 12, 2026, players, sponsors, and volunteers filled Hobble Creek Golf Course in Springville, Utah, for our annual tournament. An 8:00 a.m. shotgun start put every group on the course at once, and the day closed over lunch. Thanks to the generosity of everyone there, this event has now raised nearly $350,000 for the Burn Center’s work.
2026 Tournament Results
This year’s Profire Golf Tournament raised $50,000 for the University of Utah’s Burn Camp program, enough to send more than 35 campers to camp. This raises our cumulative total to nearly $350,000.
Every sponsorship level sold out ahead of the event, and every dollar raised goes to campers and their families. Camp gives them a place built for growth and healing, surrounded by peers who understand exactly what they’ve been through. Campers spend the week on climbing walls, at archery clinics, and on the adolescent river trip, working alongside counselors who are survivors themselves.
To our sponsors, our players, and our volunteers: you made this happen.
Supporting the University of Utah’s Burn Camp program has been part of who we are since 2016. Over the years, our golf tournament has grown into a key fundraising event, one that helps send more survivors to camp each year and deepens our connection to the community.
The tournament gives our team, our customers, and our partners a practical way to back an organization doing life-changing work. Each year it puts customers, suppliers, and neighbors on the same course for the same reason, and that mix is a large part of why the total keeps climbing.
We’re proud to support Burn Camp, and we plan to keep showing up for it.
Why Burn Camp Matters
Since 1993, the University of Utah’s Burn Camp program has given burn survivors a place to rebuild physically and emotionally. Campers take part in activities designed to restore self-esteem, encourage peer support, and build long-term resilience.
It costs between $700 and $1,200 to send one burn survivor to camp. That funding covers camp tuition, travel, and medical support, so every camper reaches a space where they can build confidence, learn new skills, and meet peers who understand their journey.
Consider Payton’s story. After a severe burn injury at six years old, he faced years of recovery. Burn Camp gave him connection and the confidence to move forward. Today, Payton gives back as a youth counselor and a volunteer at the Burn Center, helping others find the same support that changed his life.
These are the outcomes your support makes possible.
Creating Real Impact
At Profire, we back work that improves lives, whether that means advancing safer combustion technology or supporting organizations that help people recover.
Burn Camp reflects the values we stand for: compassion, resilience, and meaningful impact in the communities we serve.
The annual golf tournament is one way we bring those values to life. Every dollar raised lasts far beyond the day itself.
2024 and 2025 Tournament Results
Our 2025 tournamentraised $45,000, giving up to 45 survivors the chance to attend camp and bringing our running total to nearly $300,000.
The year before, our 2024 tournament brought together 104 golfers and 24 corporate sponsors to raise $50,000, enough to send more than 50 burn survivors to camp.
Sponsors came back both years, players brought new teams, and every dollar went to the same place. That momentum carried this year’s event past its goal of sending at least 35 survivors to camp.
