Ryan Oviatt
Ryan Oviatt is the Chief Financial Officer of Profire Energy, with responsibility over all finance, accounting, information technology, investor relations, quality control and compliance functions of the Company.
Previously, Ryan was a Senior Manager at Rio Tinto, a publicly-traded, international mining and metals company, where he managed significant regional and product group functions, at times, having responsibility over Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, Financial Reporting Analysis, and Special Projects during his 10-years there. Ryan also managed value-tracking and reporting within the company, leading to enhanced cash flow and reduced costs. Additionally, Ryan served on technical committees relating to international tax, finance, and development of a significant Rio Tinto mining operation. He also helped mentor and develop personnel and management.
Prior to Rio Tinto, Ryan was an Audit Manager at Ernst & Young, LLP, where he audited both public and private clients, including oil and gas companies. Ryan received his Bachelor Degree in Accounting from Westminster College, and Master Degree in Accountancy from Brigham Young University. Ryan is a Certified Public Accountant in Utah.

Cameron Tidball
Cameron Tidball joined the Profire team in 2010 as a Regional Sales Manager. In 2012, he became the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. In this role, Cameron played a vital role in shaping Profire’s overall organization during a time of extensive growth and expansion. Nearly all aspects of Profire’s operations have been influenced by his efforts. This includes marketing and sales strategy, training programs, business and product development, and quality service initiatives. Cameron has helped shape Profire’s strategic planning looking to the future. In March of 2018, Cameron was named as Profire’s Chief Business Development Officer.
Prior to joining Profire, Cameron worked for Direct Energy, where he held a Senior Management position managing customer care operations for the provinces of Alberta and British Columbia. Before his time at Direct Energy, he was employed at TELUS, a Canadian telecommunications company, where he managed customer experience strategies and initiatives for a network of global call centers.
Cameron earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing & Management Science degree from the University of Alberta. He also received a technical diploma in Engineering Design from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.

Brenton Hatch
Brenton Hatch is the co-founder of Profire Energy and serves as Chairman of its Board of Directors.
During his tenure, he has been instrumental in developing innovative products that have established the company as a leader in oilfield technology. Helping Profire evolve from an Alberta service company to a multinational technology company, his innate vision for success has been influential in acquiring key talent to help grow Profire, and eventually established the company as an industry leader with sales to Shell, Chesapeake, ConocoPhillips, and many others. Profire is now one of the fastest-growing companies in North America, with seven offices in the US and Canada.
Prior to co-founding Profire Energy, Brenton served as a management consultant for Titan Technologies, Inc. He was responsible for analyzing the operations and management of all divisions in the organization, resulting in significant changes to the organization and markedly improved company performance.

Patrick Fisher
Patrick joined the Profire team in 2009 and took responsibility for product research and development. He oversees many aspects of new product development and existing product maintenance, from determining the customer’s needs, through development and production ramp-up, to launching the product into the market and long-term support.
Patrick started at Profire as the sole member of the R&D team and, together, one external contractor developed the PF2100 BMS, which has been Profire’s flagship product for a decade. He built the R&D team from the ground up and now manages a solid and passionate group of engineers and developers.
In 2019 Patrick moved into the Vice President of Product Development position and is taking a broader role in overseeing the direction and focus of Product Development and the company.
Before Profire, Patrick worked as a product developer at Eleven Engineering. During his time there, he gained experience in electronics hardware development and learned much about engineering culture and collaboration. He was involved in various aspects of the development cycle, including a stint in China ramping up production. He studied Engineering at Red Deer College and completed his education at NAIT in Electronics Engineering Technology.

Brendan Frank
Brendan Frank has been involved in the oil field combustion industry for the past 15 years. His extensive knowledge and experience provide Profire with strong leadership in its service division.

Ryan Northcott
Ryan Northcott joined the Profire team in 2011 as a Design Engineer where he was instrumental in the development of the PF1300 and PF3100 product lines as well as firmware revisions for the PF2100 product line. In this role he also worked on user documentation, product certifications, internal systems and policy projects, and standards development projects related to our industry. In 2016, he became Profire’s QC Manager in charge of overseeing the quality of Profire’s product manufacturing and customer technical support.
Prior to joining Profire, Ryan worked for Eleven Engineering for 10 years developing radio wireless solutions for video gaming, data telemetry, and wireless audio. His work there involved systems architecture, documentation, test fixtures, mass production support, and embedded firmware development. Most recently, he served as the Applications Manager overseeing custom engineering projects for numerous domestic, Asian, and European clients in the Wireless Home Theatre and Pro-Audio markets.
Ryan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alberta in 2001 and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the Province of Alberta.
